The cpi numbers released by the govt are rubbish and anyone with half a brain knows it. What would the cpi rate be if they included house prices in it I wonder. It's the same smoke and mirrors con that most western governments engage in so that people don't panic at the inflation rate and the rising cost of everyday goods and services. The era of cheap money is about to implode. 'Everything is okay.... my house is worth double... everything is okay.' Dear o'dear. I really do wonder about humans sometimes. A large percentage of people are one dimensional thinkers with instant gratification disorders coupled with short memories. Even the most inept mind should be able to ascertain that printing more and more fiat currency to stave off the inevitable is folly of the grandest order. The bells are getting louder folks. Do some research and tell your friends. All IMHO.
