All Australian State governments are deep in debt as well as just about every local council and of course the Federal gruberment....the hugely unproductive. wasteful, bureaucratic red tape machines need feeding.....state land tax is bs...considering we all pay rates to councils which is hey....land tax on the land value..plus get bugger all else of them..maybe a bin collection on time...ha....did you know that to build a 500k house about 350k goes in taxes of some form or another..think about it...for a start how much tax did you have to pay just a accumulate 500k...add in stamp duty..gst...fuel taxes..taxes on materials..taxes on workers..taxes on taxes....just how many times can you tax the same $1....bla bla bla....yep the unproductive gruberment bureaucratic eaters have to be fed...and still the system is going down the drain....lucky they don't eat gold and silver....not yet anyway...the only advantage Australian has over most other countries is at least the gruberment is not trying to kill us all yet....I say yet...
