Yeah I can only imagine that there is big demand for anything precious at this point and the only direction for further demand will no doubt be up regardless of what US interest rates and the US dollar do.
Monetary safety in movable assets is what people are going to be looking for, especially as gold and silver are monetary metals and the assets like shares and bricks and mortar are heavily overvalued which is the complete opposite of gold and silver.
Then we have the coming Sovereign defaults where Bond holders get wiped out, holding precious metals ain't rocket science for anybody looking for monetary insurance.
