The paper Spot price is not one I take much notice of to be honest mate. Given the fake and fraudulent financial system we have at the moment - none of it is real.
If you want a better indicator of the real price of the REAL metal...have a look at Ebay. I just had a quick squizz and there are numerous lots of gold bullion listed at circa NZD$4k per ounce.
Don't let them have their way with you ... just laugh!!
