That’s like saying, when you purchase shares you receive a contract note which you can’t live in, rent or earn income from (a piece of paper) therefore it’s useless. Whether you like it or not, gold is, and has always been a sought after precious metal that has and continues to be subject to speculation due to the value attributed to it. Personally, I trade mispriced companies and whether you continue to be ignorant of the facts or not there is a huge global demand for various commodities (and the companies that produce said commodities) of which gold has been and continues to be the most popular of the precious metals.
