A 2 minute on the game from yesterday illuminating to all and sundry the absolute farce the gold game is when the fraudsters freak out and just let loose.
Gold charged higher with the drop in the dollar on the CPI announcement but then was unceremoniously smashed back down below its starting point. The fraudsters were no doubt caught by surprise and reacted with a plain vanilla smash before backing off to allow a rise to occur. About as subtle as a sledgehammer when panic sets in.
The likelihood of this being natural market action is about the same as a passing yacht blowing up the Nord Stream Pipelines.
