I joined HC in 2007.

When I joined, the XGD was 6,453, and now it's 6757, a gain of 4.7% in 16 years. Just imagine if I'd thrown a pile of cash at it, I could be a few dollars better off. (- brokerage).

How lucky could a guy be.

I've suffered owning about 5 properties since then, taken in hundreds of thousands in rent and sold some of them for colossal (tax free) profits - laid awake at nights wondering what to do with all these millions. I've bought 2 new cars, given the kids a pile of cash each and splashed some on travel, but it just keeps piling up, tormenting me.

It's just not fair.
