Hi mate. Below is a daily on NEM with the break happening overnight. Considering where gold is then the share price is disappointing. The company is restructuring and there is zero doubt that they, along with the entire sector has been Bankstered through different vehicles and subsidiaries. The Banksters have conned the market with their liquidity pumping the broader game and gold bashing antics, along with patently false gibberish and nonsense. Its obviously coming to an end. Being a major producer with a rising gold price there may be more shorts to cover and one can only expect the share price to continue to recover. The main problem overall though appears to be company specific. As the old axiom says, buy when it gets hammered. In 2016 BHP was hammered down to $14 then went up to $55. Just takes time for the most part. We shall see.
A weekly on NEM with it strangely being the same time frame as the daily. Looking at the MACD and it has just crossed over positively from an extremely low point. I don't see a problem with it although the share price is languishing somewhat. I hold it as a hedge against the aussie and intend to keep it and add again if the opportunity arises again. It strikes me as being undervalued. Big money is going to be looking at big gold companies and they don't come any bigger than NEM.
