I agree the geopolitical stuff is a reason...but IMO, it is only the point of ignition. Let's see where the "fiat" price of gold goes to once the financial system is dealt with. And, as I've previously mused (& illustrated), check out the effect the POG is having - as compared to real estate. By the time it is finished, I believe ole' yella will have a number of so-called investments by the throat!! Also, how is the POG measured in Stocks & Bonds going?
The poor will always be poor (sadly), but it seems to be the middle class which is about to be wiped out.
