On the announcement of the CPI number in the US the USD shot up and gold fell about $20 it would normally get hammered down so imo it's a bullish sign for gold. The AUD got belted causing the AUD gold price to make a new high currently up AUD$40 to $3,582. It will be interesting to see how the miners perform today.
