Where is the massive provocation when the Netanyahoo government allowed the Hamas attack to occur and the Israeli military was responsible for killing far more Israeli's than HAMAS so to make sure that the Israeli populace was suitably enraged wrongly believing that HAMAS was responsible. This was a planned strategy of the Israeli leadership because without the HAMAS incursion Israel would never have been allowed to commit the heinous acts they are perpetrating.
