Pretty much spot on, if the gold price runs, it runs the risk of waking up the general masses to the fact that their fiat currency is a POS. Then they will lose control as no one wants the fiat dollars, velocity will head steeply north and inflation will be uncontrollable. Gold and silver aren't the monetary metals for no reason, it's just that they have been somewhat forgotten by the public over the last 50 or so years. That is about to change in a big way IMO.
