I found these figures from the official sources.
Makes for sobering and interesting reading.
World gold production 3000 tones of gold per year.
China produces 400 t , none exported. And imports approx 1500 tonnes = 1900 tonnes per year
India imports 700 tonnes per year.
Russia produces 320 tonnes , very little exported
Total 2920 tonnes total.
Not much left for anyone else.
