It looks like the cancel culture has been in full swing over the last couple of days, cutting down on my reading pleasure. The thing is that pretty much everything that slange, Goldnumber, Rleonars and other regular posters write about on this forum, though it may be on world events, effects the gold price, is relatable back to gold and has caused a move in the gold markets. It may be that a foot note stating the particular event has the ability to effect the gold market, is required. We know there are those in our world that don't like gold. And there are even gold bears, lol, though most of them have been consigned to the unemployment queues. In recent days the Trump assassination attempt has created a great deal of attention, which the powers that don't like Trump have been trying unsuccessfully to damp down. The gold bears are lucky it didn't happen on a week day because it would have caused a massive spike in the gold price. Anyway gold up a few bucks overnight.
