    Hi Skol,

You can tell by looking out the hotel window thatthe economy's booming in China? Have you offered your services to Aussienewspapers and the Australian Financial Review?

Did you take into account the rent you could havereceived from a property? I'll bet you didn't, and therein lies the reasonthere's no multi-millionaire 'stackers'.

Correct I did not add in any rent the apartment may have yielded I intended to live in it; however, I also did not add in any insurance, maintenance cost, possible tenant damage or periods of non -rental, or as is becoming important these days in Brisbane building degradation. My current apartment at Southbank dates back to the late 1980’s. They are now talking about adding a gymnasium to attract a younger buyer, this all-costs money.

Meanwhile you cannot hide from the facts Gold is now as of today according to **promotion blocked** is up some 39.57% for the last twelve months and according to Core Logic NZ real estate is down some 17% and falling.

Did you not also say you though the mining industry was not doing so well. No company I have ever known of has paid more cash to the Tax Man than they need to just to give the impression that they are doing OK. But if you say the industry is failing, I suggest you wash you crystal ball in soapy water and give it a good polish.

Unlike you I present documentation to support my argument. Not sure why you would think that bluster alone carries any weight when making a case.

Rioinjects $13.33bn of taxes and royalties

From thisfigure, $US6.3 billion was injected into Australia, including a corporate taxof $US3.7 billion.

“thereinlies the reason there's no multi-millionaire 'stackers'.

Whilst I personally find it rather vulgar to discuss ones current financial position; however; one of us is currently traveling the World in relative luxury and one of us is sat in his mother’s basement trying to big note himself on a public forum where he is well known for his longstanding urine poor predictions.

As I said before I judge by what I see with my own eyes and please believe me my beautiful partner can spot a Vacheron watch, ChristianLouboutin Shoes or a Chanel hand-bag at 500 Meters and between us here in Guangzhou we are not seeing much sign of financial problems. I admit I do see them in Brisbane and up in Yorkshire UK and I guessit is possible they may be here but for now they are not standing out like dogs orchestra stalls!

The one thing I will point out for anyone thinking of visiting Guangzhou there is a lot less English spoken than I was led to believe; I was not sure this was going to be problematic; however, tonight after over seventy years on this planet I had my first meal in totally vegetarian restaurant. Thankfully the night was not a total loss as they had a wonderful selection of French wines on offer.

As for my services to the Australian press or theAFR they could not afford my erudite abilities so you my misguided friend will have to wait for my upcoming book, let me know your Mums address in NZ and I will send you a copy.

    .

By the way is that halfwit mate of yours still around the Domino Pizza guy the one that couldn’t spell his name still around?

    Cheers.
