The most important thing for me is positioning, which means I have many positions throughout the structure without being too exposed in one particular entity. I'm now essentially positioned in the way I want so as things unfold I just make adjustments and if things get wild which will almost certainly be the case then bigger adjustments get made. My positions revolve around precious metals and one can easily argue the point that I am restricted and exposed to only one area of the game. My counter argument is simply that precious metals is the place to be in this shambles of a system which is the argument I have been promoting for years.
To your point about "swapping physical gold for silver" from my perspective it would depend on your position in gold. To me to swap gold completely for silver would be pure speculation and not sound thinking. If on the other hand you are overly positioned in gold then selling some gold for silver at these prices with the ratio being so extreme would be sound judgement. If you are not overly positioned in gold then selling something else if you are not well positioned in cash to buy silver may well be a better judgement.
The western world is already in recession with most of it moving towards depression, war and stagflation. As Gerald Celente says "when all else fails they take us to war" which is the only way the European leadershits can stay in power. They are desperately preventing democracy from rearing its head by cancelling and annulling elections and banning popular leaders because democracy will destroy these objects.
Looking at the war game and Trump and his gang are threatening to walk away from the Ukraine "peace" process. Trump wants a quick fix but that is impossible as the Ruski's want a complete agreement to resolve and end the western decades of vilification against Russia. The European leadershits are gearing up for war with Russia. Also if the Trump and his gang walk away from the Ukraine "peace" negotiations then they will more than likely move their focus to Iran. Maybe the Saudi's know something and are getting seriously nervous because over the weekend they sent a team over to Tehran to cuddle up to the Iranians in the hope that if, or more likely when Trump gives the go ahead to attack Iran then the Iranians won't respond with an attack on the Gulf oil facilities. Considering that the Gulf States are simply US vassals then the Iranians would be justified in destroying their oil facilities from what I can see.
