I couldn't care less about the politics and see this as a stocks and index's are on sale moment.

I can't predict a bottom (it's a mugs game and hardly anyone gets these right) so I'm happy to chip away and keep buying. I have funds set aside exactly for these moments.

Flogs like you at times buy when it's high and then pretend you've been in the market for years and post charts of an index that spans over 100 years and talk about yield but yet when push comes to shove aren't actually doing what they preach as you're a pretender!
I prefer the buy and hold and don't get caught up in all the short term noise and political debates.

Im not predicting a great depression like you and the goldbugs and whilst past performance doesn't always guarantee future performance I'm happy with the risk and size of my exposure and bets I'm making on the markets recovering in the future!
