    Ask the suckers that bought in the 1980 gold mania. I watched it in awe. Dupes lost fortunes.

    As you can see it took 28 years to break even.

    Meantime those that 'stacked' rental and industrial property during those times (like me) made fortunes. I've been reading about the queues at the local Cosco.
