Mate let me put it to you simply. The US Israeli gambit was to launch a treacherous unprovoked attack on Iran while negotiations were ongoing for the purpose of murdering the Iranian leadership, creating chaos and taking over the country. This was a well planned operation with Iranian air defences non functional due to a cyber attack which took eight hours to sort out. The Israeli's activated sleeper cells to set off car bombs to help with creating chaos and their assassination programme. They also smuggled in Drones to help with the same thing. This was a major, major operation and took a long time to set up and implement. It completely failed.
Trump could not afford to have a protracted war involving the Iranians and the Americans as he didn't have popular support and the Israeli's were no more use in this attack so Trump needed an out which ended up being the theatrical attack on Iran's nuclear facilities which was bullshit because no real damage was done but Trump could shout to the world about his great "victory" at destroying Iran's nuclear enrichment capabilities. Iran played its part by "responding" to Trump by launching a tepid attack on US Bases with next to or no damage. So the next step in this charade was for Trump to "broker" a ceasefire between the Israeli's and the Iranians. We'll see how this plays out.
The bottom line is that this is a big setback for the Israeli's. They've been planning the Iran takeover for a long time and won't get another opportunity like this. The behavior of the Americans reinforces the fact that they are totally untrustworthy and completely treacherous to the core. The nature of the Israeli's is already known
