Hi Wombat, if you were referring to my lack of a reply last night, it was late and I went to bed! I was just cautioning against the use of hyperbolic language. 4% is not a plunge, whether in a share price or a currency. It happens so often I classify it as noise. 10% or more might be a plunge. My opinion only. I agree that often gold stocks behave counter to what the currency movement suggests as rational, which is why I rarely post in response to short-term fluctuations.
