Somehow I never quite understand this statement that I grew up with! If I had bought gold bars at 1900. how am I preserving my wealth at today's gold price?

What caused the GFC? It wasn't a banking collapse that caused it by the way.

Well silly me, I didn't know that! So all those American sheeps who were chasing yield and got a whole heap of capital gains in the SP500/DJ30 as well were real stupid? 2009 low to present day record high and counting, I think I wanna be a sheep.
