Seems like a lot of anger and cherry picking of timelines here...I could be wrong but I'd like to do the same and say from 2005 untill 2011 Gold has outperformed both property and the Dow, ASX etc from about us$400 an ounce to near us$1800...about 450 percent, your stock indexes and property couldnt beat that...And what about from today into the future, who knows, no one has a crystal ball, but lots have opinions, and all are allowed to have them, but as an estate agent of some 25 years...I would not be buying property today and hoping for it to go up by 50 percent or so over the next few years, but I think Gold has got a definate chance sometime in the near future.
