The silly charts you trot out from the 15th Century don't include dividend reinvestment. Stay on topic. I don't disagree that DJIA with dividend reinvest will outperform gold over historical timeframes. The point is that the index itself hasn't, while you argue to ad-nauseam that it has. But I am infinitely more concerned with the next 12 months, not the last 12 months, 12 years or 120 years.
