You should have turned up in 2006, then you would have seen a GFC - a Global Financial Crisis - unfold over the next couple of years, and something called the Great Recession.

Did you see gold get to around $1900 an oz, or was your head buried firmly in the sand?

If it's been there once, it can get there again. If we can have one GFC, we can certainly have another.
