The focus on predictions and exact dates as to when certain events will occur is just a tactic used by Skol to mock 'goldbugs' in general. As such it is total misdirection and a trap we should all avoid. Just because something doesn't happen by a certain date does not mean we can't tell which way the wind is blowing.
