Yes I "disagree they will". Again, we fundamentally disagree that banks can be regulated meaningfully, human disposition guarantees that. In addition, banks have already lent too much, it's too late to do anything about it. Do you think the level of Aussie bank exposure to residential property is safe? I'm frankly terrified about what will happen if property comes down 30℅ 40℅ which is completely reasonable in a downturn. We need a system re design.
