The next 4-10 years is going to be the most destabilising geo politically charged period of our lifetimes. Globalism may collapse eventually but the elites wont care much, they can benefit equally in an inflationary nationalistic environment via war if need be. War will also benefit governments who will be unable to maintain the social contract with their citizens and will deflect attention through same. I think this is Trumps back up plan should a major economic event occur.

Hate to think of it but with nukes there is no such thing as an unconditional surrender anymore so if people are left, the dimished populations standard of living will be so sheeat that the elites will have us indebted slaves exactly where they want us. New World Order anyone?
