    gold = paper money. no use in life. no intrinsic value. you can't eat it, can't even wipe your ass.
    it's all about economic activity. make everyone happy and willing to work.
    Gold is going up because of debt is going up, - it is all a speculation, as an asset class, it is trending up. *5 since 2000. Nice uptrend.
