The after effects are still being felt in most economies and the only way the worlds capitalist debt system only survived due to the unprecedented injection of more liquidity via QE and ultra low, never before seen interest rates.
Yet you call pro gold commentators as out of touch and believing in fairy tales.
In my opinion GFC is not over, we merely cobbled together an approach to keep the banks solvent and industry producing, while they wait to see if we are able to pay off the debt...... yet they continue to add to that date... so id say this fake rally of hope and easy liquidity is the real non event..... as it will ultimately put us back to where we were in 2009. Such a waste of money. No benefactors except the greedy bankers and those that already have wealth.
You say you live in the staes and all is rosy?
Comments on retail vacancy rates, sub prime auto lending as well as the stagnating wider economy are where you should see the event... as it happens.
