The latest statements from NK make it clear that they will do tests weekly, monthly and yearly whenever they choose. Furthermore the most recent statement suggests that the negotiations over their program during the Obama years in office were a sham given the contradictions now present in the statement. This suggests that the US were 'played' and not in good faith negotiations. For Trump this will ring alarm bells. I rather fear that it is only a matter of time before the inevitable and that time is likely to be very short at hand. It is incredibly likely that a large military build up around the Penisula would be a bluff at this stage. I imagine once VP Pence makes it to Australia on his Asian tour that the window will open for action. The final call will be Trump's of course but the plans will be actionable now in final preparation for assets in place.

If action occurs with 70 submarines and sleeper cells the NK's do pose a short/medium term threat to many areas potentially. The risks remain not may to general asset classes selling off but to the structural running if global markets if chain aysemmtic responses are initiated by the NK's. This is serious and isn't a joke at this stage. It's gravely contemplatable.
