    When in tears, keep a lot of dry powder if 2008-9 was any guide. Give it about 6 months then pick over the mining stocks especially those where market cap is smaller than cash in the bank type entities and load up! I always remember GIR, bought pre-GFC high and watch the same explorer lost close to 80% valuation at the pits but I didn't have anymore spare $$ to buy them. They went from 20+cents to about 6 bucks before AGO took them over!
