What is behind your belief that the Federal Reserve recklessly and artificially inflating asset prices to create a 'wealth effect' represents free market capitalism?
You seem to be all about cheering on the fat cats and the banksters as they loot the financial system.
What have bail-outs and hand-outs for banksters got to do with capitalism? Capitalism is about people building businesses, about price discovery - not about governments playing God with taxpayer money and doling it out to 1%ers.

Is anyone propping up the gold market to create a 'wealth effect'? I don't think so. You disdain Gold but at least it stands on it's own two feet, without having the Fed Reserve holding its pants up for it like the US stock market.

If US equities are so good, why not take the training wheels off and see if they can function without the life support. The Fed can stop the endless pussy footing around & shove interest rates up to 3% , and stop holding the Dows hand. You believe in capitalism don't you, surely you agree?
