I spend most of my time speculating and gambling so prediction both on a small and larger time frame is second nature. It's basically making future estimations based on information at hand, experience, and research. It's certainly tricky to do because most peoples decisions are clouded through lack of research or confirmation bias which you can certainly see in the gold thread.
