You could be right but it would be an expensive lesson trying to make money with this thinking by shorting the US equity index. In the same respect Tesla and Amazon are probably hyped up stocks but David Einhorn of Greenlight Capital found out that the exuberance of the market can outlast the hip pocket in his case he could play the wait in drawdown mode until he outlast the exuberance. I don't have that fortitude or deep pocket to be doing it.

So it is best to be a swing trader/investor and try not to lose money.
