I was trying to understand your logic. You have the impression of a gold breakout as it breached the long term upper trendline and did a short using options. Unless I misunderstood you.

What I think does not matter but what the market think is the correct movement of bias. Range bound is difficult to find clues of potential move and I'm not into the prediction game.
