China buys cheaper gold every time The Comex players use their paper selling game, but I think China will be looking for price stability as a greater priority.
The SGE needs to be a 24/7/365 operation and the arbitrage would take care of Comex.
Also, the day might come when "China Inc." might stand in the market for all sellers at a substantial premium. That would be a great way to get rid of heaps of those troublesome UST I-owe-Us.
At any rate, China's de-dollarisation program is a steadily tightening vice on US treasury and the Fed cartel.
