I guess you are not a goldbug. They are talking MAJORITY of their investment in physical gold and the more paranoid are storing it in their safe or backyard for fear of Govt confiscation!

If you listen to Jimmy Rickards with all his emphasis on the doom scenario then he admits not more that 10% in physical gold ownership, I realised that his majority is probably some paper form in equity/bonds/property etc that pays a dividend.
