Yes, you're right, I do make very good profits in bull markets. Isn't that the aim of the stock market investing game? I currently hold some gold stocks, but unlike you I don't hold assumptions about their future price or the the future price of gold and most importantly I don't see the two variables as mutually exclusive. I keep an open mind.
As of today, there are no signs that the current bull market in US stocks is over, and until there is I will remain long.
