I also doubt that the official Gold holding of China is very accurate my best guess is it’s under-reported; however, we can’t upset the anti-Gold squad.

India also has a great deal of Gold in the hands of it’s citizens and even after several attempts to have this moved into the governments hands I still believe there is plenty of people there that think the same way as Mrs Igo’s little boy Andy.

The World Gold council appears to accept the official released numbers; however, in China I believe as well as buying Gold on market they also retain the Gold their miners produce internally.

I do know for an absolute fact exactly how much physical metal I’m holding right down to the four sovereigns in my holder on the other end of my double Albert watch chain.
