I an trying to work out some reasons for why the USDX is continue to be out of favor when all the reasons point otherwise. Pre-GFC run up DJIA and USDX spread widened enormously then the DJIA top defined the fall as we now know what the destruction is! Currently we seem to have similar conditions where the risk markets are all pointing its business as usual with growth, yields etc but the spread is even more pronounced.

Is this an ominous sign the money is leaving US shores?
