Your disparaging language about 'a piece of yellow metal' is childish, we could call 'paper' money 'pieces of thin plastic with coloured printing in it' or a valuable artwork a 'piece of canvas with paint smeared on it' but don't - because it is childish and idiotic to carry on like that.
