However the fundamental relationships of te inter markets remain a strong USDX weak gold. A lot of commentary focusing on the UJ for some reason. Another way to measure the fear (quick and dirty) is that VIX CBOE is actually falling to the lows coupled with the stock futures suggesting they are embracing inflationary pressures. US company profits are factoring another round of great numbers as the tax cut kicks in....

All in all I don;t any bullish triggers for gold.

However the COT latest seems to suggest commercials are still buying heavily and a turning point in gold (bullish) could be in the making. However this is not a timing tool.
