Can we conduct a quick poll:

Hands up anyone on the HotCopper gold forum who has ever held savings in Venezuelan Bolívar.

While I can see certain similarities between Hugo Chavez and Donald Trump I am not sure that there is much else that compares between their two countries or their economies. So what do charts like these tell us? That there is always somewhere in the world where the price of gold is going up, but when you look closely it is plain that no sane person would want to live there.
