Does Black Rock CEO have cognitive dissonance?
“The market’s having a hard time digesting the whole change in globalization and trade,” Fink said in an interview Monday with Erik Schatzker on Bloomberg Television. “The foundations of international trade are being raised and being questioned.”
He obviously sees that the stock market averages are just a few percentage points away from all-time highs and Nasdaq recently made and all-time high, so what is Fink describing?
Yes, commodity markets are weak, but look at who's doing all the selling--SPECULATORS.
Producers are, for the most part, either long these markets or they've been net buyers of their product the entire way down, thus reducing their short hedges. That expresses strength, not weakness.
Seems like Larry's got a bad case of cognitive dissonance.
