Powell and the FED are probably talking up interest rates at the moment as they know what is coming in the future, probably another financial crisis similar or greater than 2007-8.
They know they will need to have interest rates at a level that will allow them to cut rates by around 3% to stave off the next crash of course, just my opinion. That’s what central bankers do cause problems and then appear to fix them it’s all smoke and mirrors after all.
By the way Mr. Retrospective, it must be about time you announced to us all in here that you took a short position on Gold from $1,250.00 that’s your normal MO isn’t it.
You where so cock-sure Gold was on it’s way to $1,210.00 a few weeks back I’m sure a legend in his own mind would not miss such a great opportunity.
