Maybe that's one winner out of 5 losers. If gambling in stock market is so easy, everyone would become Buffet or Soros, owning nice mansions & fleet of collectible cars. Rarely one admits his multiple losing positions, but brag their only winning position. That's a typical poor dad attitude. My point is, goldbugs are often using "gold as safe haven" mentality to make an excuse to themselves & their families feeding their stock market gambling addictions.
If you like gold, buy gold bullion & keep it somewhere. It retains the value better than your new SUV, iphone, LED TV, boats & designer sneakers.
