Okay gozinsa, would you please explain on what basis you are wiser, smarter and more capable of creating world order than leaders of nations.

It is self evident that everything is not perfect in the world. It never will be, perfection as measured by equitable distribution of wealth is nothing more than a pipe dream for those that aspire to it.

Could it be that events such as the GFC and other similar periods of disruption are inevitable - a characteristic of capitalism? Could it be, the extent of government intervention is bounded, there is only so much that can be done.

Moreover, capitalism (and other forms of governance) are in inexact science, far too many moving parts to devise a system that is perfect for everyone.

It often seems that hindsight clouds judgement. In a later day everything seems obvious, well perhaps in the heat of the moment the future is not so obvious.

I dislike many government policies as much as the next person but at the same time I respect that governing a nation in today's global market place is an incredibly difficult task and one that I can't pretend to know anything about the full complexity of it let alone have the answers. I'm not alone, I suggest neither does virtually everyone else outside of the inner circle.

Back to investing that is why I tend to take more notice of those that are swayed by the buying/selling action of the markets (TA people). At least that is more easily understood and it is tangible. If the market us up money is made if the market is down money is lost - irrespective of whether one thinks it should move in that direction.

By all means have an interest in fundamentals (economics) but if one gets in too deep to the murky world of 'why' I think it can easily cause over-confidence and become a downfall.

If the market is buying/selling just accept that is the collective minds of thousands of similar investors and that must be a more powerful force than a single individual trying to make sense of why a price goes up, down or sideways.
