I knew it, you've been reading Schiff, Rickards, Sinclair, Holter, Von Greyerz and all those other tea-leaf readers again. You're parroting their words - exactly.
Not only have I not been reading them, but who are Sinclair and Holter(?)
I try to base my predictions on historical precedents, yours are based on smoke and mirrors.
Really? Then why do you ignore the historical pattern growth followed by recession, the historical record of credit fuelled booms being followed by busts, the monotonous regularity with which Fed rate rises have triggered recessions? If there is one thing you are not, it is a student of economics and history.
You are not so much anti-gold as you are anti anyone who dares criticise the health of the financial system, anyone who dares criticise central bank actions, anyone who dares question orthodox thinking around property.
You are an elderly person who takes comfort in things that you can understand. You can't bear to think of the system you have known for so long coming a cropper, so you attack anyone who challenges the notions you take comfort in. Since 'goldbugs' back contrarian plays and contrarian thinking, they are a natural target for your anger and vitriol.
