Peter Schiff is deliberately mentioned in almost every post so as to not give other posters any respect for forming their own views, and to try to negate the credibility of opposing views.

It's a sad tactic of 'playing to the audience' even though I doubt one exists.

I definitely do not base my own contrarian views on anything that Peter Schiff says but there are some here who will not even show others the basic respect of allowing people to state honest and truthful declarations of how they formulate their outlook. Back it comes with totally false and dishonest claims of 'your hero Peter Schiff'. It's at the level of schoolyard bullying.

I wish posters who have a positive outlook on the future performance of gold would never mention Schiff or Rickards or anyone like that. I know if happens quite infrequently these days but it just serves as additional 'clown fuel' to mention them.
