Was talking to a lady friend today regarding the growing unemployment, even here at a fairly well off place like Warrnambool where there is a growing number of around 60 year old women who cannot get work gather in their cars at night in a shopping car park not far from the police station here. Shops are closing as people are cutting back to just necessities.

Not a very liquid necessary good product to be conducting or measuring inflation. I could argue a brand new Corolla 10 years ago cost just as much today but with inferior features. Tepid inflation?
