Yeah,can't see that much of a consolidation at this point although the weekly has moved into slightly overbought status.
The daily is no longer anywhere near overbought and this happened the last time when it became overbought.it was attacked and pushed lower and so at this point we have a stair step action to the upside and when it gets overbought its pushed back down again until the buyers step in and push it higher.
So it doesn't get too overcooked so as to invite a bigger correction,or shall we say "rinse."
This is no longer the same game that has been played for years.
These guys are now on the back foot and are in defence mode and are restricted to "nibbling away all day" in an attempt to bring the price lower.
Gold is going higher.
